Cyber.Bet just announced their first-ever Dota 2 Tournament – the Cyber.Bet Cup: Spring Series – Europe. They are also holding a Cyber.Bet Cup: Spring Series – South East Asia. Following the success Cyber.Bet had on their first Cyber.Bet Cup for CSGO, it was only a matter of time till we saw the same thing follow for the Dota 2 scene.
The Cyber.Bet Cup: Spring Series – Europe will boast a $7000 prize pool, inviting mid-tier teams to battle it out and prove their worth. This event also features an open* and closed qualifier, which means that you can get the lads together and jump in the fray with the pros and fight for your share of the $7000 prize pool!
Cyber.Bet Cup: Spring Series – Europe Closed Qualifiers
The closed qualifier will be held on May 7-11, and will feature multiple mid-tier teams as well as two teams from the open qualifiers. The confirmed teams for the closed qualifiers are the following:
- Family Team
- FTM 2.0
- 1st team from Open Qualifiers
- 2nd team from Open Qualifiers
Cyber.Bet Cup: Spring Series – Europe Main Event
The main event will follow the Closed Qualifiers and is planned to run till May 21st. The top two teams from the Closed Qualifier will secure a spot in the main event, and will have the chance to battle the directly invited teams.
This is where we expect the competition to get better, as we will see the likes of OG.Seed, OG’s Academy Team (who are currently fighting rigorously at the WePlay! Pushka League S1), Team Empire Hope, Team Empire’s Academy Team, and ViKin.gg!
The complete list of the Cyber.Bet Cup: Spring Series – Europe Main Event participants is as follows:
- Aggressive Mode
- Nemiga Gaming
- Team Empire Hope
- 1st team from Closed Qualifiers
- 2nd team from Closed Qualifiers
