Week 15 Preview & Predictions – OWL 2020

In the Overwatch League this weekend, Week 15, we have matchups that see teams from the bottom end face off against the best. Los Angeles Gladiators vs. Boston Uprising, Seoul Dynasty vs. Chengdu Hunters, and Philadelphia Fusion vs. Vancouver Titans are part of them. Among the teams at the bottom end, The Vancouver Titans still have a ways to go in being competitive again and the Washington Justice have to find new DPS options to replace their recently retired stars Stratus and Corey. With Tracer, Mei, Orisa, and Moira this week’s banned heroes, and teams experimenting more with dive last week, it will be wide open what teams can try without many impediments in the way.

What Matches To Watch Out For

While London put up a respectful performance in their loss to Guangzhou and their thorough beatdown of Chengdu, their upcoming fight against the Dragons in Week 15 should show how far this young team has to go. Any matchup against the best team of your region should bring out the best in a squad, especially when heroes that negate faster-moving comps, Mei and Orisa, are out for this week.

The newly revamped Vancouver Titans have two more games against Houston and Philadelphia this week. While individual players like KSAA and Tsuna may have shown flashes of what attracted them to the new squad, they will have a long way to go to being a cohesive team, and it does not get easier with the mighty Philadelphia Fusion coming up.

On the better end of the League, the San Francisco Shock and Atlanta Reign play each other on Saturday, where fans watching should be treated to an entertaining game with offensive duels with Babybay and Edison taking on Architect and Rascal.
